You know your business best, and we’d like to learn more about what you do in order to
effectively help tell your story! When filling out the following section, try describing your business
as if we were casually chatting in person. No need to sell us on your services here, just tell it like
03. The Client's Audience
In this section, we’d love to get to know your audience better. They are who we need to attract,
after all. Which means that this is the most important part of the questionnaire. First we’re
going to start with general facts. Base level stuff.
Can you describe your typical customer / client?
In the next several questions, we're going to go a lot deeper. While the above gives us a good
start, it doesn't get to the heart of your audience. For example, we don't just want to know where
they live. We want to know why. We don't just want to know who they do or do not live with. We
want to know why they've chosen to surround themselves with certain people. We want to know
what they love. What they struggle with. And so much more. So! Please be as descriptive as
possible. If it helps, feel free to imagine your audience as one person as you describe them
throughout the rest of this section.
04. The Client's Competition
Let's take a closer look at your industry and figure out who you're competing with. By getting to
know these people and / or businesses on a deeper level, we'll be able to pinpoint ways in which
your business can stand out
05. The Client's Ethos
Every brand has a voice, so let's do a quick "this or that" exercise, where you write the winning
adjective from each line. If your decision on a certain line is more complicated, or if you'd like to
explain more about why you chose a certain word, please do!

We'd love to get a preliminary feel of what you’re looking for in our project together, so let’s set some benchmarks!
